axel.heck@staabundpartner.de Axel Heck is a Visting Fellow at the Center for Transatlantic Relations and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Mainz. He holds a Diploma in Political Science (Goethe-University of Frankfurt) and has been granted a pre-doctoral fellowship from the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. Axel was lecturer at the University of Mainz, where he taught on “Theories of International Relations”. His research interest encompasses U.S. foreign policy, transatlantic relations, and European foreign policy. In his dissertation thesis he reconstructs American discourses on the European Union. Axel Heck is a Founding Partner of the Staab & Partner Marketing and Communication Consulting in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
